Thanks to the protection and safety measures and protocols implemented, we have obtained the “Safe Tourism” certificate, a seal promoted by the Tourism Quality Institute issued and coordinated by the Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Tourism (ICTE), which accredits the implementation of the Health Risk Prevention System in relation to COVID-19, as set out in current health legislation.
Safe Tourism Certified’ wishes to convey to everyone who visits Palma Aquarium the concept of certified safe tourism, stating in the seal itself that different measures and protocols are being followed in order to obtain this certificate.
This certificate has been obtained by applying a new safety framework that covers all its activities so that visitors can enjoy an unforgettable tour with complete confidence, in which the entire space complies with a protocol based on official health recommendations that guarantee maximum safety and hygiene.
PREVENTION PROTOCOLS INCLUDING “SAFE TOURISM CERTIFIED”
The measures adopted result in a reduction in the capacity of all its spaces, in which the minimum safety distance must be complied with; access controls to guarantee the maximum permitted capacity; the implementation of sanitizing material at different points along the route; extreme care in maintenance for the renewal and recirculation of air; reinforcement in daily cleaning and disinfection tasks with specifically authorized products; the elimination of community contact elements and their replacement with digital formats; specific training of the team in health and hygiene measures and control mechanisms to avoid contagion; the promotion of card payment and the use of the reservation center and the signposting of the minimum safety distance and direction of the route to maintain the minimum necessary space between visitors.
