Palma Aquarium Foundation Receives the Onda Cero Mallorca Environment Award

Palma Auditorium was filled with emotions, laughter and rounds of applause during the ceremony for the 13th Edition of the Onda Cero Mallorca Awards. An event that attracted more than 1,200 people eager to celebrate the talents and achievements of Mallorcan society.

Twelve awards were presented at the event, which was packed with fun and entertaining moments. It was attended by leading members of society, including the President of the Autonomous Government, Marga Prohens, the President of the Council of Mallorca, Llorenç Galmés, and the Mayor of Palma, Jaime Martínez.

We are incredibly proud to announce that Palma Aquarium Foundation received the Onda Cero Mallorca Award in the Environment category.  This accolade is a testimony to the hard work and dedication of our team in disseminating, protecting and recovering marine species and ecosystems.

At this time of climate emergency, and of special vulnerability for our islands, we believe strongly in the importance of conserving our natural heritage and encouraging environmental awareness among society. This award will spur us on even more in our mission to protect marine life and promote environmental education.

We are  extremely grateful to Atresmedia Radio’s general station and the latest edition of the Onda Cero Mallorca Awards for granting us this immense honour. We also wish to thank everyone that supports us and collaborates with our projects. Together, we will continue to work tirelessly to ensure a more sustainable future for our oceans and planet!
