Sleeping with sharks

at Palma Aquarium

AtPalma Aquariumwe strive, amongst other things, for you to especially get to know sharks, to always respect them but never fear them and for you to come to understand their behaviour and peculiarities, their features and unique characteristics - all of which make sharks such special animals.

And what better way to really get to know them than by sleeping alongside them?

Palma Aquariumoffers you the opportunity to enjoy ashark sleepover. A unique night full of adventure, surprises, games and activities created specially for you to enjoy with your friends.

We will camp by theBig Blue, one of Europe's deepest shark tanks and spend a super special night.

The 'Shark Sleepover' activity starts at 19:30h and ends at 11:00 on the following day. It includes dinner and breakfast.


Important!

All participants need to bring pyjamas, toothbrush and a sleeping bag (if you don't have one please contact us, we can rent you one for 2€).

And don't forget to let us know if you have any special requirements, illness or if you take any medication - if this is the case, please let us know on booking so that we can provide you with an adequate service and make sure you have an awesome sleepover.  


FAQs

When can I sleep with the sharks?

This activity is available on Fridays and Saturdays upon request or on specific dates established by Palma Aquarium. If you are interested in organising a sleepover for a different date please contact us. 


Who can take part in this activity?

The Shark Sleepover is an activity for children aged 6-14. We can also organise the activity for Families (parents and children) or a night with friends (Shark Sleepover for adults). Contact us for more details. 


What is the minimum number of people required for the activity?

The Sleeping with Sharks activity requires a minimum of 15 people.


How much does Sleeping with the Sharks cost?

€50 per person.


What do I need to bring?

A sleeping bag, if you don't have one you can rent one for €2. Pyjamas, toiletries including toothbrush, a full change of clothes. Don't forget to bring a pair of socks to use whilst at Nautilus Park!


Can I bring toys?

We ask you not to bring toys, mobile phones, food, drink or any other distraction which may interfere with the activity. 


How long does the activity last?

The 'Shark Sleepover' activity starts at 19:30h and ends at 11:00h on the following day.


What do we do while we are there?

Day of arrival:

19:30h Arrive at Palma Aquarium.
20:00h Games at Nautilus Park and/or mini disco.
21:00h Dinner
22:00h Introduction to the world of sharks: Their skin, their teeth, their eggs, lots to see and touch!
22:30h Relaxation and bedtime.

Following day:

08:30h Time to get up and go to the bathroom.
09:00h Breakfast.
10:00h Gymkhana in the gardens and the jungles and visit the aquarium inhabitants.
11:00h Home time. Pick up time. 


What do we eat while we are there?

Dinner:

Chicken nuggets and chips.
Spaghetti bolognese.Fruit and cake.
Caffeine-free drinks and water.

Breakfast:

Milk/chocolate milk.
Cereals.
Biscuits.Fruit/fruit juice.

* Participants who suffer from any kind of allergy must let us know at the time of booking.
** The menu can be adapted for adult groups.
