Christmas has arrived at Palma Aquarium, bringing with it a special programme that will make your ocean experiences even more memorable. From 6th December to 7th January, we’re inviting you to enjoy our special activities, designed for all ages. Over this period, you can combine fun and learning at the Snow Art workshop with neon paints or at our Christmas Experience Labs, take advantage of the Express Postal Service to the Three Kings of the Orient, join Father Christmas and the Three Kings on their visit to the sharks in the Big Blue, and even dive into a giant snowball. It’s time to jump into the Snow Christmas at Palma Aquarium!

Can you imagine what it’s like being inside a giant snowball? At Palma Aquarium, not only will you have the chance to find out, but you can also take home a souvenir photo of the experience! This festive corner is just the thing for creating special memories and sharing all the magic of Christmas.
Creativity under the sea with the ‘Snow Art Aquarium’ and the ‘Christmas Neon Snow’ workshop
Don’t miss our Snow Art Aquarium, where all the creativity of the marine world and the magic of Christmas come together in a single place: our famous Art Aquarium. An interactive experience guaranteed to surprise and delight our younger visitors and where they can colour in winter animals that come to life on a virtual screen.
Our ‘Christmas Neon Snow’ workshop will spark the imagination of the entire family. You’ll have the chance to create a snowball in neon tones that glow in the dark. What’s more, you can take your creation home with you to add the perfect finishing touch to your Christmas tree decorations!
Father Christmas and the Three Kings feed our sharks
From 6th to 10th December, 16th and 17th December and 23rd and 24th December, you’ll have the opportunity to watch Father Christmas feed our fascinating sharks. And from 25th December to 6th January, it’s the turn of the Three Kings to continue with this magical underwater tradition. In addition to helping us care for our marine animals, they have set up a very special letter box to collect the wish lists of our younger visitors, who can also write their letters during their visit to our aquarium.
Underwater Nativity Scene in the Big Blue Tank
You’ll be amazed by the wonder of the Christmas spirit with our underwater nativity scene located in the Big Blue, one of Europe’s largest and deepest tanks, surrounded by sharks, rays and many other species that will worship the Baby Jesus until 7th January. This unique representation brings together one of Christmas’ best-loved traditions and the wonders of the marine world.
Christmas Labs Experience
Discover the connection between ocean science and Christmas with our special themed Experience Labs. Learn about the secrets of the oceans and other fascinating facts whilst you dive into the magic of Christmas.
3D cinema: Choose your film!
We’ll give you the chance to choose between two thrilling films to watch in our 3D Cinema: “Whales” or “Planetarium”. “Whales” is all about the lives of the humpback whales in Hawaii, whilst “Planetarium” offers a fascinating insight into our solar system and the stars. In other words, two great options for delving into exciting and captivating tales.

Special Christmas Camp: Fun and learning for little ones
Between 27th and 29th December and from 2nd to 5th January, Palma Aquarium is holding its “Special Christmas Camp”, designed to let little ones have fun whilst learning. Including educational activities, interactive games and the opportunity to discover the marine world close-up, this activity is a unique and original way for kids to enjoy their Christmas holidays.
Sleeping with Sharks: a magical night for children aged 6 to 12 years
Can you imagine spending the night surrounded by sharks? On Friday, 22nd December, Palma Aquarium will offer children aged between 6 and 12 the chance to enjoy a unique nighttime experience: sleeping with sharks swimming around them. They will also be able to enjoy interactive activities, learn fascinating facts about the marine world, play in the chikipark, enjoy a story-telling session before bedtime, plus a whole host of other surprises! A magical night guaranteed to give the mini-adventurers an unforgettable experience.
This festive season, Palma Aquarium will be transformed into a place where the wonders of the ocean come together with all the magic of Christmas. You will even be able to enjoy a delicious hot chocolate and churros or other sweet treats at our Santa Cantina.
