Palma Aquarium is preparing to host another edition of the "Yo También" charity event (“So do I”) in benefit of the Respiralia Foundation, an organisation that works to improve the quality of life for people with cystic fibrosis. This highly anticipated event, which will take place over the weekend of 16th and 17th November, is a memorable day out and an opportunity for all the family to enjoy the marine park whilst at the same time supporting a really good cause.
Since the first edition in 2007, "Yo También" has underpinned Palma Aquarium's commitment to the community and charitable causes. This year’s proceeds will go to the Respiralia Foundation and its "Education is Health in Cystic Fibrosis" project. This programme provides children and young people with the disease with essential training in respiratory physiotherapy techniques and physical reconditioning that will help them become more autonomous in managing their cystic fibrosis.
Activities for all the family
The weekend will be packed with activities designed for all ages, turning the visit to Palma Aquarium into a unique experience. The celebrations include a host of activities such as games, children’s entertainment, circus acts, face painting, a magic show, storytelling by Conte Contat, a climbing wall and a giant bubble workshop. What’s more, there will be a thrilling charity draw with lots of fabulous prizes including stays at luxury hotels, experiences, tablets, bicycles, flights, cruises and lots more besides, thanks to the companies that have generously given their support to this cause.
Special price tickets and solidarity contribution
During the weekend, tickets will be available at a special price of 12 euros for all Balearic Island residents – adults and children – (admission is free for children under 3 years of age). Two euros from each ticket sold will be donated to the Respiralia Foundation, as well as the total proceeds from the prize draw, which will be donated in full.
