Conservation of the Pipefish

In the Balearic Sea region there are about 5 species of pipefish. Most of them are endangered due to accidental fishing and the degradation of their habitat.

Therefore, the ‘Pipa Fish Conservation Project’ is born to improve the wild population of the species Syngnathus typhle and Syngnathus abaster and their habitat.
