Sperm whale and bottlenose dolphin in the Balearics: two cultures to discover

The Tursiops Association leads cetacean research in our waters, revealing a characteristic as fascinating as it is little-known: their own culture. Beyond instinct, these animals share knowledge passed down through generations, forming astonishingly complex societies.

In this talk, dr Txema Brotons will reveal the secrets of the sperm whale and the bottlenose dolphin. A doctor in biology specialising in cetaceans and underwater acoustics, his work has been key to the protection of marine areas in Cabrera and Menorca throughout his 30-year career.

We invite you to immerse yourself in this experience on 28 May at Palma Aquarium. A unique opportunity to get up close to the giants that inhabit the Balearic Sea.
