Petits Taurons project - Acció Stellaris

Launched in 2021, this project aims to gather more data on this species and work towards increasing its population in the Balearic Sea, as it is classified as an endangered species in the Red Book of Fish of the Balearic Islands.

Balearic Island seahorses

In March 2022, the "Cavallets de mar balears" project was launched following the signing of a collaboration agreement between the Palma Aquarium Foundation and Banca March. This initiative aims to facilitate the reproduction of Mediterranean seahorses in a controlled artificial environment and ensure their reintroduction into their natural habitat.
