The Marine Superheroes have come to Palma Aquarium on a mission: to protect the oceans

14-03-2026

Did you know the ocean is full of real‑life superheroes? They may not wear capes or masks, but they do have amazing abilities that help them survive in the sea and keep the balance of marine life.

Learn all about them at Palma Aquarium with our brand-new adventure for all the family:  The Marine Superheroes. An interactive experience that invites you to explore the ocean, learn about its species, and find out how we can all help to protect it.

Discover the ocean’s superpowers

During this adventure, you’ll meet a variety of marine animals with extraordinary abilities that help them adapt to their environment. Each one belongs to a particular squad, depending on their special qualities and superpowers.

  • Invisible Squad: Masters of camouflage and stealth. Some species can change colour or blend perfectly into their surroundings to go completely unnoticed. In this squad, you’ll find Camu‑Horse and Master‑Mind, two superheroes who use the power of camouflage and cunning to move through the ocean without being detected.

  • Blue Squad: Powerful and strategic, they have extraordinary senses that allow them to navigate and detect everything happening around them — almost as if they had a biological radar. This team includes Bati‑Ray and Super‑Escualo, two marine heroes with a unique skill for moving through the ocean with precision and strength.

  • Resilient Squad: Experts in defence, they rely on natural mechanisms that provide protection and help them survive in the sea. Tenta‑Toxic and Pinch‑Iron are members of this squad, proving that resilience and defensive strategies are also true superpowers of nature.

Each of these superheroes represents a skill that really exists in marine animals, reminding us of just how astonishing ocean biodiversity can be.

In this adventure, the villain Plastic‑Lord embodies one of the greatest threats facing our seas today: plastic pollution. But every story needs a hero capable of standing up to its villains, and in this game that role belongs to Eco‑Guardian, the wildcard with the power to defeat Plastic‑Lord. This card symbolises something to be remembered: by taking action in our everyday lives, we too can become guardians of the ocean.
