Climate Action Movement at Palma Aquarium | 24 th and 25 th October 2026

On 24th and 25th October 2026, Palma Aquarium will be marking International Day of Climate Action with a weekend programme packed with art, environmental awareness and interactive fun for all the family.

Under the slogan “Art for Action”, we invite you to join our mission to use art and education to reflect on ocean conservation and collectively restore colour to the sea with a programme filled with unique activities.

Art for Action” Highlights

Over the two-day event, our outdoor garden area will be hosting the experience’s central activities:

• “Art for Action” collaborative mural: A large mural depicting the seabed where children and adults can paint together to symbolise how we can help prevent coral bleaching and collectively restore life and colour to the sea.
• “Promises for the Climate” Sculptures: Striking sculptures of marine animals that you can affix Post-it notes to with your promises, wishes or positive actions to help care for the environment and the oceans.
• Storytelling Session: Ona's Marine Secret: An exclusive story created by Conte Contat especially for Palma Aquarium. Join Ona the turtle on a heart-warming adventure filled with valuable lessons about protecting the marine environment.

Experience Labs, talks and feeding sessions

We will be rounding off the programme with our regular activities:

• Experience Labs and conversations with our Ocean Experts: discover some fascinating facts about the marine world with our educators.
• Feeding sessions: find out what feeding time is like for several of our marine species.
• Ocean Pill special: get a first-hand insight into the rescue and conservation work that goes on each day at the Palma Aquarium Foundation.
• Marine Superheroes Passport: our younger visitors can play and put their courage to the test by completing 6 missions during their visit, while they learn all about the most surprising skills our marine animals can perform.
