The Palma Aquarium Foundation is deeply committed to the conservation of marine ecosystems and environmental education.
Fully aware that sea and ocean pollution represents a global threat, we organise regular clean-up campaigns for our coasts, beaches and sea beds. These initiatives seek to raise public awareness of the serious consequences of waste in the sea and to promote preventive actions from dry land, as most of the marine waste is the result of activities on land.
Through the active participation of volunteers and collaboration with various organisations, we have successfully removed a significant amount of waste, contributing to the protection and conservation of the marine environment.
In addition to the clean-up activities, these events include educational actions designed to boost participants' awareness and sense of responsibility.
